Pay & Display was something we have wanted to explore for many years but as often the case it can take the right time for the equipment to come your way.  So ours came finally in 2023 when I spotted some very manual vending machines for sale (no power needed, all mechanical) one was working and one for parts. The project suddenly started to come into fruition.

So with a bit of elbow grease, paint and other salvaged parts, Pay & Display was on wheels and ready to roll.

Our first major outing was for Printopia Print Festival in 2024. With the help of many generous artists we were up and running. The entire proceeds from this went to KidsCan and we raised about $600 for them over the weekend.

Because this is on wheels it can be taken easily to different venues and have lots of different uses. It does only accept $1 coins.

***The name comes from the use of pay and display parking but this is definitely the fun and cheaper version.**
